OK - the heading of this post kinda gives it away - I loved it
Sequels don't always work. Incredibles 1 was one of my favourite animated movies or all time so the bar was set pretty high. But reached it they did - surpassed it even. Thank goodness there are still some great movie makers out there allied to good script writers.
I nearly always find animation has a good story line - that is unless it is the kind that can be spat out quickly by some computer technique. When you consider how much work has to go into making an animated movie then to squander all the work on a poor script is just too much, so no-doubt they go to extreme lengths to make sure the script isn't a dud.
The characters in this film really develop. It was laughable how Mr Incredible struggled with looking after the kids and so on. There was so much that was endearing about all the characters. I found them all to be very richly portrayed.
The storyline regarding the action was again cleverly thought out and structured. I'll admit I was wrong about who the bad guy was. No spoilers here though.
For goodness don't miss this film if you are a bit of a film buff. 10x better than most of the garbage out there.
10 out of 10 for me ...
