Rachel was previously married to a woman before she transitioned and they had two children. The name of the wife has been kept private. The couple got married during Rachel’s fourth year at Tulane Medical School. However, in 2013 they divorced. He is the father of 2 children."
By all means, carry on in this manner if you feel so obliged, but to consider it 'normal'? Now, this is where I have my doubts. Surely it is anything but.
They are allowing children to make up their own minds in regard to all the medical procedures that can help in this transitioning. By the time they have grown up sufficiently to a point where they know more about the world and about themselves they are in no fit state to change the course of events. It is quite sickening.
Men dressing up as women and vice-versa is nothing new. This has been going on for 1000s of years in many forms of society. The difference now though is that there is a tremendous drive to normalise it. Being attracted to the same sex is nothing new either. Again, this is in the same ballpark, as many societies have turned a blind eye to it, or even embraced it at times, but generally, almost universally, both practises were deemed somewhat unlawful and were, therefore, the province of the backstreets or liaisons were carried out in a secretive manner. Nature itself is in question here as species were hardly likely to prosper if the above was the norm, therefore in most societies it was and is considered taboo - unlawful - and still is in some even today.
A struggling community on the rise would never embrace it, where children were the defining factor between success or failure. A society that was successful though, where people had the freedom and wherewithal to indulge in whatever fancy they pleased, where expansion was of no consequence any longer did embrace it - look no further than the Romans for this.
