You can either load the chat page directly or load it in a new page or load it into a popup window. Each has merits and downsides. Directly means you will have to remain on the page to chat (less windows); a New Page means you will have a new tab on display (you can chat and browse using the different tabs) and the Popup means you will have an addition browser window open (you can flick between browsing and chat using key combinations, also the chat window will collapse off screen).
